The Futurist

This turned out to be more of an experimental thingy than I had planned...
I just wanted to draw a picture of Robert Downey Jr. that everyone hadn't done yet. So I got a shot of him lying on the ground after saving the world in the Avengers, got on it, and that was gonna be the end, half of an A4 sheet. But then I decided to doodle on the background... And there came the Chitauri ship and all the rest.
And finally the colours, cus everything was too dark. The red is actually painted on top of a quite thick layer of graphite, with aquarelle pencils, which was an adventure.

I've grown very fond of this drawing, it's one of my favs, even after a couple of years

Also, The Futurist is an awesome album by RDJ, hence the title, plus Iron Man
